Gary is the owner and head trainer of The Fitness Zone. Gary has over 18 years of experience in the health and fitness profession as a trainer, lecturer, and educator. His experience covers exercise programming, Pilates instruction, sports specific training and post-rehab work. Gary has been featured in Fitness Magazine (June, 06), was a featured guest on the WCCO Pat Miles Show, Kare 11 Today Show and has written articles for Minneapolis/St. Paul Magazine. Gary has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stout and is certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine, American Council on Exercise and the Senior Fitness Association.
Laurie is an ACE certified personal trainer, a certified Yoga instructor and has STOTT Pilates training. Laurie has 11 years of experience working in both large gyms and small studios. Laurie has worked with people of all ages and abilities from general fitness to sports specific training. Laurie is passionate about exercise and fitness and her main goal is to inspire, educate and motivate her clients to lead healthier and more active lifestyles. Laurie is an avid runner and Yoga enthusiast. Laurie also enjoys reading, cooking and spending time with her family and friends.
Jay McCracken is a nationally certified personal trainer through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) with a variety of athletic experiences and fitness qualifications. He holds a Bachelor’s degree and 20 years of continuous service as a full time personal trainer in health clubs, private studios, and corporate fitness centers. Along with personal training, Jay has provided chiropractic rehabilitation, corporate wellness programming, and has presented for NEITA as a national personal training certification specialist.
